Coronation Street Review

This episode of Coronation Street was fairly typical so it should satisfy long-term fans of the series. Many will agree that there’s been a decline in quality over the years, but the series remains a guilty pleasure and a good way to kill an hour.

Despite having so much going on, the episode was pretty straightforward so even newcomers will be able to pick it up from this episode without having to second guess anything. Some of the stories are strong while others are a little farfetched. Nevertheless, there’s something for everyone.

The performances can be a little dry and some of the scenes are a bit corny. It would be more impactful if certain stories were covered more than others, but that’s the game and that’s why people keep coming back. Overall, this was a decent episode of Coronation Street that did enough to keep viewers interested enough to return once again.
