The fourth season begins with a grisly discovery in a scrap metal yard. The team suspects the dismembered body has been stored in a domestic freezer for thirty years. The young man’s unique Millwall Football Club tattoo helps uncover his identity as Matthew Walsh who was in his mid-twenties when he disappeared in March of 1990.
Synopsis
A team of investigators led by Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan is called to a North London scrapyard when a headless, handless body is discovered. Investigators believe the body was illegally dumped after possibly being transported inside a white goods item. Pathologist Leanne Balcombe soon confirms that the dismembered corpse had been frozen.
The body is identified as Matthew Walsh who disappeared 30 years prior. From there, investigators will meet and interview four individuals who may be linked to Walsh’s disappearance. Investigators will question therapist Fiona Grayson, high-flying career woman Elizabeth Baildon, businessman Dean Barton, and soon-to-be father Ram Sidhu.
Cassie Stuart’s retirement plans are abruptly halted and she is forced to return to the task force when her father’s dementia seems to be worsening. The opening episode of the six-part series will air on February 22 at 9 PM on ITV.
