CBS All Access, which is a digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service from ViacomCBS, has announced numerous new features and content. It has added new product features for families as well as more Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. content. The service continues its expansion across the ViacomCBS portfolio in preparation for the upcoming rebrand to Paramount+.
With the new family-friendly features, users will be able to create a maximum of six profiles per account and manage the profiles using “Kids Mode”. This mode allows parents to create profiles that limit content to children based on the content rating. The existing parental PIN controls’ option for mature content will still be available across all profiles.
Furthermore, CBS All Access has added nearly 800 more episodes of hit children’s programming including certain past seasons of Nick Jr. favorites Dora the Explorer, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Paw Patrol, Blue’s Clues, and Bubble Guppies.
On CBS All Access, all children’s programming is available commercial-free. The new content joins CBS All Access’s collection of more than 1,000 episodes of library and original children’s programming.
Original children’s programming will continue to expand with an upcoming spin-off of Spongebob Squarepants, Kamp Koral, scheduled to premiere in early 2021. CBS All Access will also be the exclusive home to the new movie The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run. Additional details can be found here.
