Make It Look Like An Accident – Episode 4 begins with Hector (Jorge Garcia) and Walt Dinty (Rob Corddry) hashing out a deal while Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco) and Sandra (Andrea Anders) Colavito try to come to an agreement about Wendy (Dale Dickey). Danny leaves to begin his day after he realizes he isn’t going to get far with Sandra. Ray/Reyfield (Omar J Dorsey) is right in the middle of giving John Franklin (Brent Jennings) a sponge bath when Danny shows up.
Larraine (Vanessa Ferlito) just finishes logging a bet when Hector buzzes at the door. She lets him in, takes his bets, and gives him crap over his handwriting. He briefly asks if she spoke to her partner before giving her crap about drinking his Red Bull. The two don’t get much further than this thanks to Ray buzzing at the door. When Ray gives Lorraine his betting slip, she takes the opportunity again to gripe at Hector over his handwriting.
While Danny continues his earlier argument with Sandra over the phone outside, Ray asks Lorraine how she is doing. She says that she’s a little lonely. Ray apologizes and says between Frank and his Grandma (Arnetia Walker), he just hasn’t had time. Their discussion doesn’t get much further thanks to Danny interrupting.
Rocko is about to go live with his picks when Danny and Ray show up to collect on the 42k he owes. Although he lets them in, he immediately goes right back to his recording. After making the collection, Danny and Ray call Gregory (Bob Clendenin) to make another deposit but he claims he’s in Sacramento and reschedules a meeting for Monday.
Lorraine immediately calls Walt and then Hector after discovering that her mushroom storage containers have been robbed. The three can’t put their differences aside long enough to realistically consider who and how they got robbed, so Walt just storms off. Ray is surprised to see Janelle (Selina Kaye) waiting on him when Danny drops him off at home. Despite the pleasant salutations, Grandma immediately recognizes the tension and takes little Ray elsewhere. Janelle doesn’t waste any time jumping on to him for moving to Brentwood and leaving her and Ray Pico Boulevard. An argument ensues and Ray appears beaten once Janelle threatens to call his other baby mamas and tell them he is living in Brentwood.
Things are not much better for Ray when Wendy attempts an apology while he tries to unwind and watch TV. Despite his hatred for Wendy, she shares a couple of stories about Sandra that make him see he is much better off with her around than not. He agrees to let her stay and she agrees to let him convince Sandra that the whole thing is his idea.
Danny is right in the middle of breaking the news to Sandra when he receives another call from Nick in Costa Rica. He decides to ignore the call in the heat of the moment. Elsewhere, Walt is shown introducing a group of his peers to their psychedelic advisor, Doctor Nancy Rinpoche, who also happens to be his mistress.
The episode ends with Grandma claiming that Frank naturally passed, despite the pillow in her hand.
Bookie Review
This proves exactly why assisted suicide should be a thing. Look at poor Frank, he had nothing to live for and although he had some speech and motor movements, he was completely paralyzed. Who would want to live like that? It will probably seem cruel to a lot of people but in my opinion, she did him a major favor. What about Walt? He’s a scumbag and a half, right? A pretty decent episode with a lot of conflict, I’d have to give it a 5.3 out of 10.
