Right Up The Wazoo – The episode opens inside the alcove at Longharvest Lane in 2023. Barber (Michael Jibson) orders a search of Hillinghead, the name etched into the wall. Later, Maggie (Alexandra Roach) tells Shahara that a search turned up nothing in their database but 1890 city records revealed Whitechapel police officer, DI Alfred Hillinghead (Kyle Soller). Clive Jones (Anthony O’Donnell) says Whitechapel records go back as far as “Right up the Wazoo”. He escorts Shahara into a record room to reveal rolls and rolls of files from 1890. Alfred warns the mere mention of Julian’s name may get him killed. He says Julian has Chief Inspector Paxman (Nicholas Farrell) and Ladbroke (Andrew Whipp) in his hip pocket. Henry points out a smudge on the lens of Alfred’s glasses. Alfred recalls Julian placing his glasses in his jacket pocket.
2053 – Iris and Defoe arrive at the safe house when she receives a SPYNE alert. He is surprised to learn she is a SPYNE. She removes the device to recharge it. She replaces the SPYNE device as Lorna Dunnet (Philippa Dunne) rings the doorbell. After getting rid of Lorna, she assures Defoe that the person responsible will be apprehended. He asks if being a police officer scares her. She says it is a risk worth taking because her job is important.

Maplewood will get you as far as you have to go but remember…” When she hears a noise, she hurriedly flips off the power and hides. Andrew tells Shahara that they knew she would come. He explains how he and Elaine Morely (Kate Ashfield) brought Elias to the Harker House when he was 13. He claims the “big shots” promised Elias that the house would be his one day.
