The Cleaning Lady Review

This episode of The Cleaning Lady stretched out in many directions to reach the necessary episode count for the season. Truthfully, this never needed to be twelve episodes but here we are. In return, we’re getting unrealistic twists and turns just to keep the story going for a bit longer. There’s really nothing surprising here although the Jeremy revelation may catch some viewers off-guard.

For instance, Jeremy is a cop, Thony is nearly killed, Nadia is jailed, and Camila is taken captive. How much can happen to these people before it reaches the point of becoming fantastical? Many of the performances could be a lot better since the delivery can be monotonous from time to time. Thony’s behavior is often very corny, such as offering to save Ramona’s life in exchange for her own.

There’s no sense of believability here so viewers shouldn’t expect that. Instead, they’ll have to bend reality multiple times in each episode to accept what they’re being fed. Hopefully, the series will end on a high note but it’s got a lot more twists and turns to go before it reaches that point. The episode scores a 4.5 out of 10.
