The Outlaws Review

Definitely, the best episode of the season. Frank’s heartfelt confession to Lou was the highlight of the episode. Christopher Walken makes the perfect Frank.

The Brook Hill crew proved anything is possible when you work as a team. Christian and Rani, together evaded the police while Greg and Myrna evaded Diane.

Now, that John has discovered the power of crack, it is questionable what his future holds. Will he gain enough confidence to prove his true self-worth to his father or become a “crack h*?”

When Rani saw Christian wearing her father’s slippers, did she fear he would become too much like him?  Did Myrna arrive at Town Hall in time to secure the Community Center for her charity?

The cinematography, acting, and directing are practically flawless.

  1. Pat says:

Why do you keep calling Ben “Christian”—Christian is the one in prison and they are two different actors. You got their names wrong. Sloppy.

    • ReelMockery says:

Incorrect, but the whole thing is completely confusing. There are 3 names, Ben, Christian, and Malaki. Malaki is actually Christian Taylor. As for Ben, he is pretending to be Christian Taylor for Malaki. Ben/Christian Taylor are played by Gamba Cole for the majority of the series. Malaki/Christian Taylor is Charles Babalola.

Since the characters in the show call him Christian or Taylor, I do as well. The way I recap these shows is pretty much line for line, but I also expect that the viewer has watched the show and can follow along with the recap. There has to be some give on part of the reader/viewer to connect the two. Same as when the character says something like, “come over here”. I may write “he told him to come over there”. Again, there may be some effort required from the viewer.

These recaps often take 2 – 3 hours per episode with little return on that investment. No one understands that or seems to appreciate it. So you’re welcome.
