Stay Close Review
The finale was a major disappointment. The only good thing about the show was ruined in less than 30 minutes. Is it even remotely possible for Lorraine to take down 15 men, utilizing a butcher knife? The vicious killing of Stewart Green couldn’t possibly have been done by a woman.
Ken’s makeup is horrendous, doesn’t even close to looking genuine.
Megan appears to be in critical condition but walks into the police station without assistance to meet Ray.
During the meeting, Megan and Ray are left alone while he is uncuffed. Would this ever be permitted? How is it, Ray is not charged even though he admits to chopping up Stewart’s body and tossing it into a river? Shouldn’t he have been charged with desecration of a human corpse?
The series was drug out beyond belief, with a rushed ending that turned out to be nothing more than mush. Is this is a work of Coben’s ghost writer?
If Harlan Coben wants his works to have a hint of realism, he will have to do much better the next time. We will have the opportunity to find out since Netflix just signed a multi-million-dollar deal that includes 14 of the author’s books.
A major disappointment, giving it a 4.5. Get more
