BKFC 21 has finally made its way to Nebraska with a showdown between MMA vets Dakota Cochrane and Mike “The Marine” Richman. The Marine is coming off a win due to shoulder injury against Marcel Stamps at BKFC 17. Former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Cochrane has been on a roll beating Chris Leben and Tyler Vogel.
The event, which is available on Bare Knuckle TV, also features Houston Alexander, Sam Shewmaker, Rocky Long, and Jason High. All bouts will contain 5 2-minute rounds.

Adam Valcourt Vs Jeff Souder
Round 1 – Both men come out swinging with Souder getting the better of it before taking over in the clinch. Souder pounds his opponent in the clinch before Valcourt finally separates and lands a nice punch. The action slows until Souder wades in and swings away once again. Valcourt valiantly fights back although his chin is being tested repeatedly and he is visibly exhausted. – Jeff Souder Takes Round 1
Round 2 – Souder wastes no time getting back to work until he is clinched and the ref breaks them up. Sounder continues pouring on the punishment until Valcourt falls to his news. He is unable to get back to his feet and Jeff Souder is declared the winner by TKO at 49 seconds of round 2.
Carlos Trinidad Vs Noah Cutter
Round 1 – Both men land good straights, but Trinidad seems to be getting the better of Cutter. He lands a huge right hand and Cutter immediately goes down. The ref waves it off and saves Cutter from further punishment.
Erick Murray Vs Roberto Guzman
Round 1 – The much taller Erick stays on the outside before the men eventually clinch. Moments later, Guzman comes in and gets clipped with a hard shot. He goes down but seems fine when he climbs to his feet. Guzman struggles to get inside before being thrown to the ground. Both men throw punches and the action slows again. Erick Murray takes round 1 with a 10-8 round.
Round 2- Something seems to be wrong with Murray’s eye at the start of round one. He quickly jumps on Guzman and puts him down right away. By this point, his eye is completely shut. Murray works from the outside until the men get tangled and both fall. Murray leaps in with a punch. Guzman swings wildly but misses and Murray takes advantage of it with a barrage of punch. Murray pushes Guzman back and it appears Guzman hurt his right knee. He stumbles on it several times before going down on one knee. Doctors check it. The fight is stopped. Erick Murray wins by TKO at 1 minute and 52 seconds of round 2.
Keilen Fantroy Vs JC Deleon
Round 1 – Deleon comes out stalking Fantroy who throws back. Both miss. Fantroy unloads, misses, and they clinch. Fantroy slips and Deleon tries to work in the clinch. JC is bleeding but unloading on his opponent. Another clinch. Fnatroy pushes off and tags Deleon who gets tagged hard. He is visibly stunned but the bell saves him. – Keilen Fantroy wins round 1
Round 2 – Fantroy starts round two aggressively. JC strikes back and Fantroy falls to the ground but gets up. They wrestle in the clinch and JC takes advantage of it. He lands again after the ref breaks it up. A handful of punches land and Fantroy goes down once again. The ref stops the fight. JC Deleon by TKO
TJ Benson Vs Cody Land
Round 1 – Both men throw and miss but Ben lands a sneaky punch. They clinch before being separated. Land wades in and throws punches on his taller foe. They get tangled up or Land gets rocked and he goes down. Another split and Land comes in swinging again. Land holds Benson and tries hitting him. He puts Benson on the ropes and lands a three punch combination. The round ends with an uppercut from Cody. – Cody Land wins round 1
Round 2 – Benson starts round two by working from the outside, but Land wades in with punches again. He wings to the body and head while Benson covers up. He Benson is pushed to the ground before the fight is restarted. Cody comes forward swinging and Benson quickly wraps him up. Land crushes Benson’s body causing him to scream in agony and go down. He doesn’t get up before the ten count. Cody Land via TKO
Sean Wilson Vs Will Shutt
Round 1 – Both men swing wide until the ref has to break it up. They start throwing again and Shutt gets tagged. He stays upright and throws back. Both men get hit but Shutt ends up going down. He seems to be having trouble with his eyes, but it continues. Wilson continues pouring it on. Shutt’s back hits the ropes, and he goes down again. The ref stops the fight as blood seeps from Shutt’s eye. Sean Wilson TKO Round 1
Jason High Vs Rocky Long
Round 1 – Rocky is aggressive from the start but lands nothing significant. After a break, he wades in and swings wide. High tries to counter his opponent as he rushes forward. High eventually does and wobbles him. They tie up and Long is pushed to the ground. Another clinch and split leads to a slowdown. High throws a combination with the best punch landing to Long’s body. He goes down and the bells ring. The fight is called off. Jason High via TKO
Ryan Roberts Vs Jorge Gonzalez
Round 1 – Ryan Roberts immediately stalks his taller opponent and swings periodically. Gonzalez goes down after a slip. Once he gets up, Roberts goes at him like a mad man but nothing of significance lands. The fight begins to slow until they get wrapped up and Gonzalez falls. Roberts throws a two punch combo, one lands, and he puts Gonzalez down for the first true knockdown of the fight. – Ryan Roberts takes round 1
Round 2 – Gonzalez tries to pick things up at the beginning of round 2, but he gets absolutely killed and goes down. Although he manages to get up to his feet, the ref stops it. Ryan Roberts wins via KO
Wes Combs Vs Houston Alexander
Round 1 – Houston lands a straight and tries to follow it up but misses. Wes lands a good uppercut. Alexander tags Wes with a punch and knocks him out, but lands a punch to a downed opponent. Houston Alexander wins by KO, but could’ve easily been a disqualification.
Sam Shewmaker Vs Josh Burns
It doesn’t take long for Burns to tag Shewmaker and send him to the canvas. Schewmaker can’t make it back to his feet before the fight is called off. It is over in just 19 seconds. Josh Burns wins via KO
Dakota Cochrane Vs Mike Richman
Round 1 – Richman tries to push forward while Dakota fights from the outside. Cochrane throws a wide uppercut, gets caught, and goes down. Once he gets up, Richman devastates his body. Dakota covers up and goes down again but gets back up. It doesn’t take long for more body shots to send Dakota to the canvas. He climbs to his feet once again and fights on. Near the end of the bell, Dakota goes down to another body shot. He gets up and the fight continues into the second round. Huge 10-6 round for Mike Richman. Massive heart for Cochrane
Round 2 – Dakota tries to step on the gas in the second round but he soon goes down once again after a hard straight to the nose. Richman’s speed is too much and Dakota’s nose is gushing blood. The ref stops the fight. Mike Richman wins via TKO
