Al Jazeera is owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network. The state-funded broadcaster is headquartered in Doha, Qatar. The network delivers news reporting across more than 36 distinct digital properties. This week, it was announced that Al Jazeera Media Network had ended into a content license agreement with Bloomberg Media Distribution to improve Al Jazeera’s global business coverage.

Certain Bloomberg content will run alongside the business and economics coverage on Al Jazeera’s English language digital properties. The content will include charts, photographs, news stories and digital video. Al Jazeera believes that the content agreement will help provide Al Jazeera’s audience with added depth and context on the dynamics of the global economy.

Under the terms of the deal, Al Jazeera editors will choose certain business and finance stories from Bloomberg News and publish them on the network’s English-language digital properties.
