woody and hannah 800 words

As the 15th episode begins, George Turner (Erik Thomson) goes for a run. He crosses the restaurant and spots Terry (Ditch Davey) drunk in a car with Robbie (Millen Baird) and Hannah (Cian Elyse White). Then, he runs across someone who looks like Jan (Bridie Carter). George returns home and gives Jan a call to see whether or not his eyes have deceived him. Eventually, George and Shay (Melina Vidler) find Arlo (Benson Jack Anthony) in bed with Lindsay (Manon Blackman). Arlo promises that it isn’t what it looks like. George takes the kids to school. He runs into Bill Jnr (Paul Glover) and learns that all of the cooking kids have been working late.

Bill doesn’t seem to mind, but George wants more for Arlo. He speaks with Tracey (Emma Leonard) about it. Tracey admits she is thinking about pushing back classes, so the kids can continue working at the restaurant. Nevertheless, she is happy that all of the numpty kids are now coming to class each day. She also reveals that the kids have been in the newspapers and might even be on television. Shay meets with Katie (Anna Jullienne). She learns that they have been paid for their Dennis work. Katie decides to send her half back. She promises that Shay can do whatever she wants with her share of the money. At work, George tells Tom (John Leigh) and Gloria (Jackie van Beek) about Robbie and Terry.

He decides to visit Big Mac’s (Peter Elliott) place to speak with Robbie. During the visit, Robbie passes a breath test. He hasn’t been drinking. Tom also runs into Jan. At the boat club, Hannah tells Fiona (Michelle Langstone) that Terry has proposed to her. Tom reports back to George and Gloria. He tells them about Jan. Hannah heads to the beach and tells Woody (Rick Donald) about the proposal. A plane lands on the beach and Steve (Mark Ferguson) comes out. He asks them the directions to Weld. He tells them that he is there, because he loves Jan. Soon, Steve meets with Fiona and Zac (Rob Kipa-Williams) at the boat club. He asks them about Jan. Soon, Tom enters and tells them where Jan has been staying. George chats with Jan at Big Mac’s. Soon, they’re joined by Zac and Steve. Steve reveals that his pregnant wife told him that the baby might not be his.

Eventually, Jan gets fed up with everyone and asks them to leave. Outside, Big Mac tells George about Rae (Nathalie Boltt) buying Shay’s painting. Now, Rae believes it could be fake. George speaks with Hannah. He subtly tries to persuade her to refuse Terry’s marriage proposal. He fails. Then, George visits Katie and learns about the paintings. Then, George confronts Shay. After a little back and forth, George tells his daughter to fix her problem. Moments later, George speaks with Siouxsie (Olivia Tennet) and Monty (Jonny Brugh). He learns that their business have been thriving thanks to the restaurant. George seeks advice from Gloria. She insists that Weld has its own way of dealing with things. Shay learns from Katie that Rae paid her a visit. She wants the painting for free.

Rae wants Dennis to sign it later. It is clear that she wants to sell it for a big profit in the future. Shay isn’t happy, but Katie seems willing to let it go. George speaks with Fiona at the boat club. He insists that something has changed about Weld. She tells him that he would go elsewhere. Then, George hears the same from Woody. Woody comes up with a scheme to help George choose a destination. After throw darts a few times, he lands on London. Shay tells Ollie (Henry Beasley) about her painting problem. He believes he might have a solution to the problem. George visits the restaurant and gets in touch with Terry. He tells his brother than Weld isn’t for him and the people there aren’t his kind of people.

He believes that Terry just wants to show him up in his own town. Before leaving, George tells his brother that he is going to write a column and tell the truth about the restaurant. That night, Terry and the others go to Hannah’s place to celebrate the engagement. Ollie agrees to lock up the restaurant. Lindsay asks Arlo to take her home. He agrees. Ollie lets Shay inside the restaurant. They burn the painting on the beach. In the morning, Tom and Gloria put the newspapers in mailboxes. Terry checks out the column.

800 Words Review

The 15th episode of 800 Word’s second season was okay. It is somewhat predictable. There is a good chance that everything George predicted is going to come true. The same could be said about Ike and Shay. He tried to warn her, but she wouldn’t listen. Nevertheless, Ollie helped save the day. The episode wasn’t bad, but it was a little bland. I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Catch up with previous recaps of 800 Words now!
