One of the kids looks at an article Richie’s romp with the nanny while Fi tells Richie that she wants him in a hotel tonight. He says that isn’t going to happen and he wants to put on a united front. They arrive and get ready for the day’s work. Fi tells Richie that she can’t do it. She says she’ll play around for the rest of the week and then she is finished. When Fi storms off, Richie tells his assistant to find as much as she can about Hannah Stern.

Will’s boyfriend offers to sign a postnuptial agreement if that will satisfy his mother. She is worried that the tabloids are going to find out about it and go wild with the story. Ruth hangs out with Ronnie and they chat about her wishes for the company. She tells him that Rose was asking about him before he says they should give them something to talk about. Christie encourages Zander to learn more about Tyler before getting married.
They briefly chat about Christie not going to Chicago before Christie leaves for the night. Hannah checks on Liv in her room and they chat about Matteo Lopez (Marc Bosch). Liv wonders how her mother can forgive Nathan and pretend that it doesn’t matter. She says it matters but less than it did and that it hurts less. She encourages her daughter to give him a break before returning to her room. She thanks Nathan for not being an idiot. Seconds later, Hannah takes control and they make out. In the morning, Hannah finishes the anniversary note before giving it to her husband and getting one from him. Hannah asks him about the tool kit after getting a message from Nina.

Once that ends, Christie tells Fi that they’re trying to yank her chain.

Christie tells Hannah she could’ve been hers before rushing away. Hannah spots the fox and begins screaming at it to go away.
The Split Review
I figured the show had topped out on the drama but I guess I was wrong. This episode brought out new secrets and I think it is going to get worse. Now, we know that Hannah was likely pregnant with Christie’s baby but aborted it after her marriage to Nathan. Christie didn’t handle that very well and Nathan is going to find out soon enough. I am curious to see what is going to happen when Nathan learns Hannah has taken her affair much further than he did.
Will their marriage be able to survive? Is Fi going to be safe and will she be able to get away from Richie? This show is very depressing but always enjoyable. I like it. The episode scores a 7.5 out of 10. We have previous recaps of The Split on Reel Mockery!
