The Serial Killer’s Wife Review
Beth finds a hidden phone. It contains sex videos of Tom and various women. When she confronts him, he says since she had Poppy, she became the mother of his child. He no longer feels right about strangling her during sex.
Alison is found alive. Aline refuses to believe Tom didn’t kill Katy. Pearson warns her against investigating Tom because he has an alibi.
Clover tries to convince Beth to stay with her for a while. Beth fears being poor like when she was a child. She hated moving around and people making fun of her.
Beth sees Libby’s new earrings from Ollie. She later sees a photo of Katy wearing the same earrings. Libby confronts Ollie who admits to losing his job and goes on the run. Libby and Beth go to the police. Beth later finds Ollie. He grabs her at knifepoint. He denies killing Katie. Aline and Pearson arrive a short time later. He tells them that he found Katie deceased on the beach. He took her purse and ran to his car. He saw Tom jogging in the area. Pearson tases him. Ollie hits his head on a steal cleat when he falls.
The series is a compilation of stories from different movies and TV series. The story is fairly predictable without an ounce of sagaciousness. Ollie gets caught with evidence linking him to Katy’s murder but in all actuality, he never killed her. It wouldn’t surprise me if Tom is innocent and Beth is the killer.
The scene in which Ollie collapses after being tased is cringeworthy. He just happens to hit his head on a steal cleat. Not even close to being realistic.
