On November 18, 2022, ITV announced a Royal special to celebrate Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s 160th anniversary. The one-time holiday special will focus on the rehoming of several dogs with disabilities and health problems.
A long-term supporter of Britain’s oldest animal rescue charity, Battersea, Camilla the Queen Consort will join Paul O’Grady in caring for homeless canines in search of their forever homes.
On Thursday, The Queen Consort hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for the winners of the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2022. Before the celebration began, Camilla paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen Consort will join O’Grady at Battersea Brands Hatch in Kent, according to an ITV press release.
