The Cleaning Lady Review
Jorge learns an old acquaintance Neto hired a hitman to kill him. Ramona urges him to make an example of him to send a warning to the others. He beats him to death with a lithium rock at a cartel meeting.
Thony intubates a patient DNR patient. Ernest bucks the vent. Thony and DuPont remove his breathing tube. Edna is grateful to get to say her goodbyes before he dies.
El Don digs up information on Chiqui. Ramona tricks her into believing she contacted her mother and her life would soon crumble. Chiqui collapses. Ramona smiles and walks away.
Thony continues to overstep her bounds. Like Arman, Jorge does nothing when she takes matters into her own hands and jeopardizes his cartel in the process. At least, this episode revealed she isn’t the perfect doctor as she has always proclaimed.
It felt as if the show was promoting the use of fake American IDs by undocumented immigrants. Around 23.9 million people in the United States fell victim to identity theft in 2021, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Nearly 59% of the victims lost a total of $16.4 billion.
