This week, SHOWTIME released the first look at its upcoming four-part docuseries Action. The series premiere will air at 8 PM on Sunday, March 24. It explores the legalization of sports gambling while chronicling the lives of some of those involved.
For instance, the series will follow the lives of professional gamblers, consultants, illegal bookies and oddsmakers as they experience the thrills of the 2018 NFL season. In the sneak peek clip, professional gambler Bill “Krack” Krackomberger providers viewers with insight into his strategy, which he believes gives him an edge over sports books.
Action is presented by SHOWTIME Sports Documentary Films. The series has been directed and executive produced by Luke Korem. It is executive produced by Andrew Fried, Jordan Wynn, and Dane Lillegard. David Check is the show’s executive producer and showrunner.
Action follows in line with other unscripted programming from SHOWTIME Sports, including Disgraced, Shut Up and Dribble, and Bipolar Rock ‘N’ Roller. Further details have been made available here.
