As the episode begins, Jago (David Wenham) looks at a picture of Kane (Toby Wallace). We learn that Marco (Jeremy Lindsay Taylor) is a cop. He attends a meeting and learns about Patriot Blue’s activities. The group also discusses Kane. After the intro, Cindi (Markella Kavenagh) finds her brother’s picture on the Internet. Stix (Kaden Hartcher) and Kane try to leave her behind. She manages to find a way to join them anyway. Lyno (Fletcher Humphrys) watches as Kane enters a store with tons of refrigerators. Gabe (Jacqueline McKenzie) meets with Marco. She is given files on Kane. Petra (Lily Sullivan) runs into Laila (Nicole Chamoun). She invites her for a drink. Laila is introduced to the other antifasc members.

Gabe finds out that Kane is involved in Patriot Blue. Then, she gets a visit from two clients. Jago becomes upset with management. He wants to make a real change. That’s why he wants to get Kane involved. Blake (Lachy Hulme) receives a call from him moments later. Jago tells him to come back on the show, but he makes it clear that he wants Kane there too. Blake tells Zoe (Sophie Lowe) that he intends to take the boys into the bush. Then, Blake gets a call from Marco. He agrees to meet with him. That night, Farid (Julian Maroun) and Laila watch their friend Malik fight in an MMA match. He wins, but it is clear that he doesn’t have control over himself. After the fight, the police approach him and want to speak about the attack. Macro asks Blake about Kane. Then, he warns him to watch his back. Marco calls Gabe and informs her that Kane is deep into the organization.

That night, Cindi approaches the antifasc group. They agree to give her a place to stay for the night. In the morning, she puts on the monkey mask. Then, Petra shows her the billboard featuring Blake and Jago. The following day, Blake takes his boys to the bush. During the ride, Blake shows Kane his father’s knife. McGoo (John Brumpton) welcomes the boys when they arrive. He shows them his Nazi memorabilia. Then, the boys go hunting. They eventually find a wounded pig. Blake forces Noddy (Sam Parsonson) to get naked and kill the pig with a knife. He tries to, but fails miserably. Blake shoots it from a distance. Then, he tries to force Kane to finish it off with the knife. Kane refuses, so Blake does it himself. Blake and Lyno turn on Kane. They call him weak. Blake explains that Lyno believes Kane is sleeping with Zoe. They encourage Kane to make a sacrifice for the cause.

They cut his neck with the knife and tell him to show Zoe. Blake promises that she’ll know what it means. Then, Kane wanders off to take a leak. Blake follows. Blake recites some poetry, before Kane throws him down a ledge. In the morning, the others believe that Blake had an accident. McGoo forces them to take Blake home. Afterwards, Kane and Stix visit the appliance show. Kane tells Vic (Dan Wyllie) that it is done.

Romper Stomper Review

This episode of Romper Stomper wasn’t as good as the last. Nevertheless, it was still pretty entertaining. It was clear from early on that Kane was destined for more. Was he attempting to make a move on Blake? Or, does he have a completely different motivation? What is Cindi up to? Is she is going to side with antifasc against her brother? Perhaps she is going to spy on them for Kane? The episode was pretty good and did a good job of setting up future episodes. This one scores a 7.5 out of 10.
