Outside the interrogation room, Carol and Ridley discuss their options. He admits to knowing about Tasha’s past. She suggests his judgment is clouded because Tasha is the same age as Ella. They return to the interrogation room to tell Tasha that she is back on the case. After Carol leaves, Ridley unplugs the tape recorder before questioning Tasha about her relationship with Liam. Angry, she explains why she left home and claims being a cop is the best decision she ever made. He fills her in on Terry Sansom (Matt Bardock) and gives her a tracking device to install on Liam’s vehicle.

At the stud farm, Ridley asks Simon Penrose (Toby Hadoke) about Terry. Simon denies knowing him personally. Ridley says Terry utilizes his haulage company to move stolen merchandise. Getting defensive, Simon asks if he is under investigation when Katharine Penrose (Christine Bottomley) approaches. Ridley Review
Little has changed since the first episode of season two. The case is closed quite nicely with no loopholes. The acting remained strong throughout part one and part two. The cinematography, directing, and editing are great. My biggest qualms are the slow pace and clunky script. The episode deserves a 5.5 out of 10.
