Outer Range Review
Season 2 starts out weak. The writing remains cryptic, leaving the “West Pasture” still a mystery. The only notable revelation is Royal’s birth year, 1878.
Joy is possibly stuck in the 19th century during the Indian wars. It is implausible to think that she could kill a warrior from birth. Her knowledge of the era and fighting skills are minimal at best. Being from the modern world would not be on her side.
The night scenes are nearly indiscernible due to poor light. The characters are virtually nothing but interactive dark blobs. Amazon should have done better.
A wild goose chase that may or may not pay off. The episode deserves a 5.5. out of 10.
