Victoria Justice and Adam Demos have signed on to headline Netflix’s upcoming Australian romcom. The untitled film will follow a hard-driving LA wine company executive who travels to an Australian sheep station to land a major client. Along the way, she’ll work as a ranch hand and develop a relationship with a rugged local.
The film, which is being directed by Stuart McDonald, is being shot on location in Queensland, Australia. Production and post-production will be supported by the Queensland Government as a part of Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy. The project will create roughly 120 jobs for Queenslanders.
Justice debuted during a guest appearance on Gilmore Girls before rising to fame by playing Lola Martinez in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101. New South Wales actor Adam Demos is best known for playing Jake Taylor in the Netflix film Falling Inn Love.
