Love After Lockup: Innocent After Lockup, delves into the lives of three individuals wrongly convicted of a crime and later declared innocent. The three-part series is scheduled to premiere on WE tv on December 15, 2023.

Love After Lockup: Innocent After Lockup, a Sharp Entertainment production, shows the challenges three wrongly convicted men faced after exoneration.

Taron Hill – At the age of 18, Taron Hill of Raleigh, North Carolina, was wrongly convicted on double murder charges. In 2021, Hill was freed from prison after serving 16 1/2 years after being exonerated.

Now 35, Hill is on another to secure wrongful conviction compensation.

Calvin Buari – At the age of 21, Calvin Buari was wrongly convicted on double murder charges, with a life sentence. In 2018, Buari was freed from prison after serving 22 years after new witnesses came forward.

Buari was $8 million from New York State in restitution.

Ru-El Sailor – At the age of 23, Ru-El was wrongfully convicted on a murder charge. After serving 15 years in prison, Ru-El was exonerated after Cordell Hubbard who was serving a life sentence confessed to the murder.
