Carey Mulligan, the 30 year old actress, who is known for her role as Bathsheba Everdene in Far from the Madding Crowd has finally announced that she is a new mum. Carey and husband Marcus Mumford have given birth to a beautiful baby girl.

Carey and Marcus are very excited about their wonderful bundle of joy and are ready to experience parenthood. She was unable to contain her joy that she let the beans spill on The Graham Norton Show. She admitted that her daughter is now 3 weeks of age. Her new film, Suffragette is set to premiere sometime in the near future, but right now she is trying to adjust to being a new mum.

Carey has yet to reveal the baby’s name, but be patient fans, because it will be coming soon.
